Troy Neptune is an amphibian ecologist who studies how frogs and toads respond to climate change. Their research has primarily focused on amphibian responses to photoperiod and increased temperatures both before and after metamorphosis. They have published research in journals such as Proceedings of the Royal Society B: Biological Sciences and Journal of Animal Ecology. Troy was awarded a Fulbright Postdoctoral Award in 2025 to study how light pollution affects amphibians at the Doñana Biological Station in Seville, Spain.
