Zach Savich is a poet and nonfiction writer. His books include the poetry collections Momently (2024) and Daybed (2018) and the memoir Diving Makes the Water Deep (2016).
Savich's work has received the Iowa Poetry Prize, the Colorado Prize for Poetry, the CSU Poetry Center's Open Award, and other honors. His poetry, essays, reviews, and collaborative work have appeared widely in journals and anthologies including American Poetry Review, Boston Review, Best New Poets, Georgia Review, and the Academy of American Poets' Poem-A-Day. He teaches courses at CIA including "Writing I," "Writing II," "Writing + Community," "Editing and Publishing Workshop," "Creative Writing Senior Seminar," and "Reading Topics: Inspiration and Insight."
