Every Day Echoes: Small Moments, Big Connections, Lasting Traditions is the second annual exhibition organized by the Cleveland Institute of Art's Latinx Heritage and Appreciation Club.
Every Day Echoes celebrates the powerful, everyday ways Latinx and Hispanic heritage shapes lives through gestures, memories and rituals. Using personal artifacts, narratives and multimedia, Latinx Club students aim to highlight how heritage influences identity and connects individuals within and beyond cultural boundaries. The exhibition invites viewers to reflect on the joy, resilience and belonging that flow from shared traditions and expressions across generations.
An opening reception for Every Day Echoes will take place from 5 to 8pm Friday, March 7 in CIA's Alan Lipson Gallery. The opening will be held in conjunction with CAN Journal's Spring 2025 Launch and Networking Event.
Every Day Echoes will be on view March 3–28.
During the reception: The Cinematheque—in partnership with the Latinx Club and in conjunction with Every Day Echoes—will screen Oceans Are the Real Continents. The screening takes place at 7:30pm Friday, March 7. Attend the Every Day Echoes opening reception, then see the film!
