The comically playful Dupieux (Reality, Smoking Causes Coughing) brings the surrealist painter Salvador Dali to life in this “real-fake biopic,” where a French journalist meets with the unpredictable Spanish artist, here played by five different actors, on multiple occasions for a documentary project that never gets to shooting.
