Established in 1963, the Ann Arbor Film Festival is the oldest avant garde and experimental film festival in North America. With 9 experimental short films from 7 countries, the first of the AAFF touring programs features a diverse selection of award-winning and noteworthy films from the 2024 festival. This selection includes winners for the Best Experimental Animation, Prix DeVarti for Funniest Film, Chris Frayne Award for Best Animated film, Ken Burns Award for Best of the Festival, and The Edge of Your Seat Award.
