Thomas is a Division Chair and Associate Professor in the Life Sciences Illustration Department at CIA as well as Adjunct Professor in Anatomy at Case Western Reserve University. He is the founder and principal illustrator of Novie Studio, which produces accurate and aesthetically clear illustrations and 2D animations for print and digital publication as well as exhibit design for litigation. Thomas received his MFA from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Medical Illustration and is a Board Certified Medical Illustrator (CMI).
