Shaunese Johnson is a native from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and has worked in Student Affairs in Higher Education for several years. She has worked in Residence Life, TRIO Student Support Services, Health Promotion/Wellness & Service Learning.
She started her Student Affairs journey at Seton Hill University as an Area Coordinator within Residence Life. Shaunese relocated to Ohio and has worked within Housing & Residence Life at Kent State University, Case Western Reserve University and John Carroll University.
Shaunese focuses on identity development and how it impacts one's college experiences and uses this theory to connect with college students to ensure they have a holistic, welcoming and inclusive environment.
Shaunese enjoys thrifting, writing poetry, reading, creating colorful artwork, playing video games, traveling, exploring Cleveland and spending time with her partner and family.
