Prior to CIA, Elton has been working in college access for over 15 years, helping to attract, retain, and build to a college-going culture in Cleveland, and help students start, retain, and complete a post-secondary education that they can enjoy and utilize. A first-generation college student from Cleveland, Elton brings the lived experience of the challenges and successes of navigating higher education and is passionate to find pathways for other students to succeed. A 2004 graduate of the nearby Cleveland School of the Arts, Elton continues to freelance in photography and video editing, and is excited to learn and support what the next generation creates at CIA.
