Curated from a sampling of recent Creativity Works projects, Exercises in Style presents artworks made by Cleveland Institute of Art seniors Margaret Berrodin, Gabrielle Greisl, Lovena Grillot, Zoie Olbrysh, Ash Olszewski and Amelia Vinson.

These textiles, paintings, drawings and prints explore individual themes ranging from the playful to the contemplative. These works are especially evocative of memory and offer a brief escape into the past of our childhoods and bygone eras.

Exercises in Style will be installed Thursday, September 24 in University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center’s Humphrey Annex Gallery (11100 Euclid Ave., Cleveland) and will remain on view through the end of October.

Creativity Works is a unique self-initiated internship program open to students at the Cleveland Institute of Art. Applicants accepted into the program receive funding and one- on-one mentorship to assist in conceiving of and bringing to fruition a professional project produced in collaboration with an external partner. Through this remarkable program, students receive real-world experiences that help prepare them for their professional lives following graduation.
