Friday, February 6, come on down and immerse yourself in our hand-built cowboy fantasy, with darn good adventure, thriller, history, and more at the opening reception of This Ain’t My First Rodeo. The event runs from 6 to 8pm. Refreshments will be available throughout the evening.
This Ain’t My First Rodeo, the fourth annual Black History Month exhibition organized by the Cleveland Institute of Art's Black Scholars and Artists students, will showcase a series of artworks that respond to Black American Culture’s often overlooked contributions to the American West—historically and in modern-day pop culture narratives. The exhibition will be on view February 6–27 in CIA's Ann and Norman Roulet Student + Alumni Gallery and the Mary Ann and Jack Katzenmeyer Student Lounge.
Parking is available in CIA’s Lot 73 and Annex Lot, both of which surround our campus. To accommodate the event, parking policies posted in the lots will not be enforced that evening.
