Join us Friday, November 7 for the opening reception of FREE PLAY: Innovative Ohio Game Design. The event runs from 5 to 8pm with remarks at 6pm. “Gamer”-themed refreshments will be available throughout the evening.
FREE PLAY is an interactive exhibition that explores video games as powerful media for critical inquiry, immersive therapy, experiential learning and creative exploration. The exhibition will feature these games—all of which can be played by gallery visitors:
- ARWell PRO + ARWell, presented by Augment Therapy
- The Bridge, presented by The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild: Ty Taylor
- Discharged, presented by warGames Tactical Media Collective: Kerry Richardson, Eric J. Garcia, and Steven Ciampaglia
- Little Nemo and the Nightmare Fiends, presented by Team Nemo, Inc.: Chris Totten, Ben Cole, Adrian Sandoval, Max Kunze, and collaborators
- She Dreams Elsewhere, presented by Studio Zevere: Davionne Gooden
- Stimulation Driven Rowing Games, presented by XRtistry: Anthony Calabro, Matthew Beckwith, Steven Gutierrez, Robert Lauer
- We Are OFK, presented by Team OFK: Jarryd Huntley
Parking is available in CIA’s Lot 73 and Annex Lot, both of which surround campus. To accommodate the event, parking policies posted in the lots will not be enforced that evening.
