Spend your lunch hour hearing from Steven Intermill, Director of the Buckland Museum of Witchcraft & Magick, and take a journey into the past as he unearths gems from the museum's archive and shares a treasure trove of correspondences, zines, magazines, cassettes, and record albums.

"Earth Air Fire Water Paper: Material of the 20th Century Occult Explosion" will take place during Lunch on Fridays from 12:15 to 1:30pm Friday, October 10 in CIA's Peter B. Lewis Theater.

Speaker Bio

Steven Intermill is the Director of the Buckland Museum of Witchcraft & Magick, which operates out of Cleveland, Ohio. He spends his free time with his spouse Jillian, three cats Robat, Berti, and Lil Ricky, as well as his modular synthesizer. He's always trying to find the sine wave that opens up the Trans-Yuggothian gateways. The mission of the Buckland Museum of Witchcraft & Magick (established 1966) is to preserve and explore the culture of witchcraft, neo-paganism, and occult practices, while also educating the public about myths and misconceptions through the collection of magical artifacts gathered by its founder, Raymond Buckland. It aims to provide a non-dogmatic platform for expression and to fight the stigma surrounding witchcraft and related occult traditions.

Parking

Lunch on Fridays attendees may park in CIA's Lot 73 and Annex Lot, both of which surround our campus. Please note that signs posted around those lots correctly state that parking typically requires a CIA permit or visitor pass and that violators will be ticketed. However, to accommodate our valued Lunch on Fridays attendees, that policy won't be enforced during the program. Have questions?
