Crystal is a high school Language Arts teacher turned higher education professional whose passion lies in helping people see themselves as learners above all else. She joined CIA in 2024 after almost a decade at Notre Dame College serving students and the institution in the areas of Advising, Admissions, Adult & Online Education, Graduate Education, Student Conduct, Institutional Assessment and in a faculty role as an Assistant Professor of Curriculum and Instruction. Crystal’s professional interests are centered on student and community experiences as they are felt and explained by the students and communities themselves--not how we perceive them--and how organizations can meet their needs.
Crystal is a native Clevelander who currently lives in North Olmsted with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, baking, bowling, and exploring all the Metroparks reservations.
