Academic Services

The Office of Academic Services, located in Suite 120, provides academic advising on a walk-in basis and by appointment. Please note that appointments take precedent. 

Advising is a developmental process at the Cleveland Institute of Art. We encourage students to be proactive self-advocates while working towards their academic goals. Our dedicated advising professionals work closely with students to explore their talents in both the studios and liberal arts classrooms.

The Office of Academic Services provides academic advising on a walk-in basis and by appointment. As a student, you will have the opportunity to meet with an academic advisor about any of the following academic decisions or concerns:

  • Academic Status

  • Course Selection
  • Independent Study
  • Credit by Portfolio Review

Academic Advising

The Academic Advising Staff is available Monday through Friday during normal business hours (8:30am-4:30pm) to assist you.
