Thirty-six artists from a variety of majors will have work on view in What's Hidden In The Grass?, an exhibition conceived and produced by third-year students at the Cleveland Institute of Art. This exhibition will showcase the artists' interpretation of the theme behind the title. It will be on view April 12-17, 2019 at Bostwick Design Art Initiative, 2731 Prospect Ave., Cleveland, 44115. Gallery hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm.
The opening reception will be 5:30-8:30pm Friday, April 12. Admission is free.
The project is part of Artists as Cultural Producers, a course for third-year students in visual art majors: drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture and expanded media. Students shape the show from conception to installation.
The course is taught by faculty members Amber Kempthorn, Sarah Paul, and Tina Cassara.
