Library

The Jessica R. Gund Memorial Library has collections specifically developed for the students, faculty, and staff of CIA. The library's collections support CIA's accredited degree programs, with a focus on visual art, design, and craft.

CIA and the library are open to current CIA students and employees only. Most area public libraries are open and we suggest you reach out to your local library for your research needs. If you have an archives or special collections question, please email the library (library@cia.edu) and we will get back to you as soon as possible. For updates on hours and services during the COVID-19 pandemic, please visit our Library Services Updates page.

Donate

Many alumni and friends choose to support the Jessica R. Gund Memorial Library by making a cash donation or by donating gift-in-kind items. The library staff welcomes donations of art publications in excellent condition and will acknowledge all donations in writing; the staff is not permitted to assign values to gift-in-kind donations.

To find out more about either type of donation, contact Laura Ponikvar, Library Director, at 216.421.7442 or lponikvar@cia.edu.
