Where Cleveland Institute of Art, Donna and Stewart Kohl Corridor
Mural by Xani Dean
Senior and junior Illustration majors at the Cleveland Institute of Art created artwork that celebrates the NBA All-Star Game being played February 20 in Cleveland. Included are murals that highlight the city and its many noteworthy landmarks as well as portraits of Shaquille O'Neal, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson, hosts of TNT's popular Inside the NBA.
The murals and portraits—which represent work from about 30 students—will be on view in an exhibition, #SLAMDUNK, from Thursday, February 17 through Friday, March 11 in CIA's Donna and Stewart Kohl Corridor. In addition, it will be on view February 17–21 on CIA's Toby Lewis Media Mesh, a large public-facing digital display on the northwest corner of the building.
All visitors are required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination upon entering CIA. They also will undergo a brief health-assessment screening and be required to wear a mask at all times. Learn more about what to expect by reading the Vaccination Requirement: Visitors to CIA section at cia.edu/covid.
