When 11:30am - 12:30pm
Spend your lunch hour hearing from poet, author and artist Annelyse Gelman during our Lunch on Fridays lecture series.
This event will be hosted on Zoom Webinar via this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84926989176
Gelman’s language-based projects straddle publishing, installation and performance, often incorporating “domesticated” technologies like word processors, search engines and browser-based maps into explorations of intimacy and vulnerability.
Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, BOMB Magazine, the PEN Poetry Series, American Poetry Review and elsewhere, and she is the author of the poetry collection Everyone I Love Is a Stranger to Someone (2014, Write Bloody), the artist’s book POOL (2020, NECK Press) and the EP About Repulsion (2019, Fonograf Editions). She also directs Midst, an experimental platform for archiving and sharing the writing process.
