Where Cleveland Institute of Art, Ann and Norman Roulet Student + Alumni Gallery
Opening to the CIA community in the Ann and Norman Roulet Student + Alumni Gallery on Friday, September 27 is Through My Eyes... a solo exhibition of work by CIA student Renaissance Bernard. Organized by Bernard, Through My Eyes... is a showcase of his practice and process of creating.
Bernard says of his work, "through the process of trial and error, I have an impulse to create work in different styles and processes. My work is a reflection of my internal and external struggle when creating. Work depicted in different forms revolves around concepts of entropy, or a sense of unpredictability when viewing the work. I want the viewer to sit with my work and uncover the way I perceive the world that I live in."
Building safety measures restrict access to the Galley to CIA students, staff, and faculty only. The gallery is limited to 10 socially distant visitors at a time. This exhibition is unfortunately not open to the public.
