Spend a lunch hour learning about the latest in art and design during these Friday lectures. Each lecture features a variety of artists and designers from around the world, including CIA faculty and visiting artists. This event is free and open to the public. Pizza and beverages provided on a first-come, first served basis.
Ellen Rudolph is Chief Curator at the Akron Art Museum, where she directs the exhibition program and oversees the collection. She previously served as Executive Director of the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage for four years, where she led the production of original exhibitions such as Operation Finale: the Capture and Trial of Adolf Eichmann. Rudolph’s earlier work experience includes Sotheby’s New York, Progressive Corporation and managing private art collections. At the Akron Art Museum, she organized contemporary art exhibitions for six years as senior curator, including Pattern ID and Gravity and Grace: Monumental Works by El Anatsui. Rudolph earned a bachelor's degree in art history from Northwestern University and a master's degree in art history from Case Western Reserve University.
