Visiting artist Chakaia Booker (USA) uses old tires to create powerful, evocative sculptures that a New York Times reviewer called “pure poetry.” This fall, she took part in a week-long residency sponsored by Dealer Tire, LLC. Her show recently received a fantastic review from The Plain Dealer’s art + architecture critic, Steven Litt. Read it here.
