CIA seniors pour themselves into their capstone projects: their bachelor of fine arts (BFA) thesis exhibitions. The week of May 5, 2014, all seniors will present (and defend) their exhibitions before their thesis committees. The BFA exhibitions are open for public viewing in our Gund (11141 East Boulevard) and McCullough (11610 Euclid Avenue) buildings on Friday, May 9, from 5:30-10pm and Saturday, May 10, from 10am–5pm.
On Friday night, May 9, from 7:30-10pm, the public is invited to celebrate the achievements of these artists and designers at MOCA Cleveland, 11400 Euclid Avenue. And at 8:30pm President Nunes will announce the winners of the 2014 President's Traveling Scholarships, the cash awards that enable six graduates to travel after graduation and pursue special projects.
Experience creativity and celebrate emerging artists and designers. Free and open to the public both days.
