GREEN BORDER film still

The acclaimed and award-winning new epic from the master Polish director of Europa Europa, The Secret Garden, In Darkness, and others was denounced by Polish government officials as “a collection of blatant lies,” Nazi-like propaganda, and more. Addressing the current migrant crisis with anger and empathy, the film dramatizes the plight of a Syrian refugee family trying to enter the European Union but trapped in the treacherous forest region (a no man’s land) created as a buffer between autocratic Belarus and democratic Poland. “A stunning, harrowing film.” –Time Out. Subtitles. DCP. 147 min.

Special admission $13; members, CIA/CSU I.D. holders, age 25 & under $10; no passes.
