Seven years in the making, the new, largely hand-drawn feature by Latvian animator Signe Baumane (Rocks in My Pockets) is a semi-autobiographical comedy-drama-musical about a feisty, free-spirited young woman who spends many years seeking perfect love and lasting marriage. Eventually, she finds the strength to follow her own path as an artist and independent person. Michele Pawk, Stephen Lang, and Matthew Modine supply some of the English-language voices.
