Britain’s Jeremy Thomas has produced some of the most acclaimed and controversial films of recent decades, including The Last Emperor, Only Lovers Left Alive, Sexy Beast, Cronenberg’s Crash, and Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence. In this new documentary, critic and filmmaker Mark Cousins accompanies Thomas on his annual drive from England to the Cannes Film Festival, allowing time for a film clip-filled look back over Thomas’ storied career.
