Partly made to boost British morale during WWII, Laurence Olivier’s first Shakespeare movie is one of the most rousing and innovative treatments of the Bard on film. Olivier stars in the movie (in addition to directing), playing the 15th-century British monarch who battles the armies of France at Agincourt to claim the French throne. William Walton composed the stirring music. “A triumph of color, music, spectacle, and soaring heroic poetry.” –Pauline Kael. “One of [the movies’] rare great works of art.” –James Agee. DVD. 137 min.

General admission $11; members, CIA & CSU I.D. holders, and those age 25 & under $8.
