Juliette Binoche plays a woman who retreats from the world when her composer husband and young child are killed in a car crash. The first of Krzysztof Kieślowski’s three films inspired by the principles symbolized in the tricolor French flag is an elegant, haunting take on “liberty.” Emmanuelle Riva co-stars. Cleveland revival premiere. Subtitles. DCP. 98 min
