Laura Dern plays an actress who lands a dream part in a prestigious new movie that also happens to be cursed. As she prepares for the role, she goes down a rabbit hole that’s suffused with dread and full of dangerous visions. Her identity splinters and reality becomes indistinguishable from fiction.
