Self Portrait of David Wojnarowicz

This incendiary documentary profiles queer firebrand David Wojnarowicz, a downtown NYC artist, writer, photographer, and activist who, during the 1980s AIDS epidemic, weaponized his work and waged war against the establishment’s indifference to this plague. He died of the disease in 1992 at the age of 37. “A stirring requiem of rage and resistance.” –Hollywood Reporter. Adults only! Cleveland premiere. 105 min.
