COME AND SEE film still
Here’s a new digital restoration of a movie now widely regarded as one of the great films of all time! It’s a savage WWII drama in which a sensitive adolescent becomes an emotionally numbed killer after witnessing the Nazis’ wholesale destruction of his beloved Belarusian village in 1943. Klimov’s epic has an hallucinatory, nightmarish quality that is not soon shaken. “The best war movie I’ve ever seen.” –J.G. Ballard. Cleveland revival premiere. Subtitles. DCP. 142 min.

Shown at the Cedar Lee Theatre, 2163 Lee Road in Cleveland Heights. The movie will be projected in Theatre 1, where seating will be socially-distanced and capped at 30% of room capacity (100 people). Face masks are required for all patrons at all times, except when consuming concessions. Special admission $11; Cinematheque members, CIA & CSU I.D. holders, and those age 25 & under $8. No Cinematheque passes, twofers, or radio winners and no Cleveland Cinemas passes or discounts will be honored or accepted. Advance tickets are recommended and are available at www.clevelandcinemas.com. Special thanks to Jon Forman and Dave Huffman, Cleveland Cinemas.
