Fantastic Fungi fans should check out this new documentary about the therapeutic potential of magic mushrooms and iboga. The movie focuses on a young woman suffering from chronic depression, anxiety, and drug addiction who turns to underground healers and illegal psychedelic medicine after prescription medications fail her. The film features mycologist Paul Stamets, trauma specialist Dr. Gabor Maté, and Rick Doblin, founder of MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies). Cleveland premiere. 84 min.
