The new film from the director of Gomorrah was the most honored Italian film of 2018. It won 10 Italian Oscars (including Best Film, Director, and Screenplay), nabbed the Best Actor prize at Cannes, was Italy’s submission for the American Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film, and was one of five movies nominated for the Felix Award for Best European Film of 2018. Set in a seaside village, Dogman tells of a meek dog groomer who is coerced into criminal activities by the local brute and bully. Subtitles. DCP. 103 min.
