The Sundance Film Festival's Short Film Program has long been the place to discover rising filmmakers of unusual talent. Alums include Paul Thomas Anderson, Wes Anderson, Damien Chazelle, Jay and Mark Duplass, Lynne Ramsay, Dee Rees, Jill Soloway, and Taika Waititi, among many others.
