Writing + Learning Center

The Writing and Learning Center is a learning support facility jointly sponsored and administered by the Liberal Arts Environment and the Office of Academic Services. 

The center provides:

• Instructional support for bachelor degree program courses involving writing and research
• Guidance to students on topics broadly related to success in academic life, such as time management and study skills
• Tutoring during each academic term for students who need help with any part of the writing or research process 

Students can stop by during center hours or make an appointment to work with tutors in preparing their academic written assignments.

The center is staffed by approximately 14 trained peer tutors, upper-division students chosen for their accomplishments in academic work and their writing skills. The staff is overseen by Jonathan Rosati, Writing Support Coordinator and Visiting Instructor of English, and Jill Milenski, Learning Support Services Coordinator.
