CIA alum Rodriguez edited 'Dog Eat Dog'

The creative machinery of the feature film business requires years of dues-paying on small, obscure projects with unknowns.
Ben Rodriguez Jr. ’05 chose a different route. Or it chose him. For his first feature film, his talents as an editor landed him in the company of big time a director (Paul Schrader), marquee stars (Nicolas Cage and Willem Dafoe), and a movie, the gritty crime drama “Dog Eat Dog,” that had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
Not bad for a kid from Middleburg Heights, who majored in TIME (more on that later) at CIA.
