Live entertainment on plaza every Thursday through Aug. 28
The Beat UPTOWN, a free Thursday night summer concert series, runs through August 28 on the plaza at the corner of Mayfield Road and Euclid Avenue, directly across the street from CIA’s soon-to-open residence hall and adjacent to MOCA Cleveland.
With live music selected by the Cleveland’s Beachland Ballroom, food trucks, and nearby restaurants and shopping, The Beat UPTOWN offers a good excuse to explore the city’s newest cultural neighborhood. Residents and visitors are encouraged to bring your blankets, chairs and appetites to the plaza on Thursdays, from 6-9pm.

The Beat UPTOWN is a collaborative effort by Case Western Reserve University, The Cleveland Foundation, Toby Devan Lewis, MOCA Cleveland, Cleveland Institute of Art, MRN, LTD. and Skylight Financial Group. Free event parking in designated UPTOWN lots will be available after 5:00pm every Thursday.
