News . Feature Stories . Spring Show Reception Night Is April 19
April 01, 2011
5 EXHIBITIONS. 3 VENUES. 1 BLOCKBUSTER NIGHT.
Welcome spring by exploring new creations in art and design. Cleveland Institute of Art students from all 19 majors showcase their work to the public at the annual Spring Show on Tuesday, April 19, from 5:30–8pm. Stroll through open studios and exhibitions in three different buildings, talk with CIA's student artists and designers, and have a bite to eat.
Lolly the Trolley will be circling campus all evening, offering a free shuttle service between the three buildings. Snack and beverage stations will be in all three buildings. Or guests can step outside and sample the creative cuisine of some of Cleveland's best food trucks (Umami Moto, StrEAT, and others), which will be parked around campus.
Events take place all month. Join us for gallery talks, visiting artist lectures, and more throughout April. Visit cia.edu/springshow for details.
The Spring Show has been a CIA tradition for more than 20 years. Hundreds of Northeast Ohio residents have attended our Spring Show each year—both as prospective employers and as art and design aficionados curious to see the innovative and original work of CIA students. In fact the Spring Show has become one of our most popular annual events.
