First-year students have their first show of the school year.
Real world experience is a hallmark of a CIA education, which is why Foundation students are given a unique opportunity this week to exhibit work from their first semester at CIA. Beginning on Wednesday, December 7, students will showcase their work at the Foundation Show, which runs through December 11. The show features work created in Foundation classes where students study digital material and color, design, and drawing. In addition, this year’s show includes digital work completed on iPads, which are now a fully integrated tool in CIA’s first-year curriculum and a central component of CIA’s Digital Canvas Initiative. The show takes place in the Gund Building, 11141 East Boulevard, throughout the second and third floors. Learn more about the Foundation Program and CIA’s first-year experience.
