Biomedical Art Head wins Business Newspaper Award

Amanda Almon, assistant professor and department head of Biomedical Art, has been honored as one of the up and coming professionals in Greater Cleveland by Crain’s Cleveland Business. She is one of the “20 in their 20s” featured in Crain’s April 28 issue. Nominated by CIA President David L. Deming, Almon has introduced digital illustration and animation into the curriculum and has established fruitful collaborations with the top hospitals and museums in the city.
