As The Cleveland Institute of Art celebrates 125 years of providing premier professional visual arts and design programming, it’s crucial to recognize that we not only have a great history to reflect upon, but we are building on that proud legacy by providing new generations of students with strong, relevant programming to prepare them for life-long success.

The exhibition From Here to Infinity and The Big Bang displays our celebrated past and our promising future at two venues. At the Reinberger Galleries here at the Institute, you will find the works of distinguished alumni artists and designers who have made major contributions to the arts. This select group is but a sampling of the many successful alumni who have had or are currently enjoying significant careers.

The other part of this collaborative exhibition features more recent graduates of the Institute. These “rising stars” are showcased at SPACES gallery on the near west side of Cleveland. SPACES, one of the nation’s most successful and longest existing artist’s cooperative venues, specializes in providing recognition opportunities to creative visual arts professionals who are starting their careers.
