Each lecture features a variety of artists and designers from around the world, including CIA faculty and visiting artists. This event is free and open to the public. Pizza and beverages will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

CIA’s Black Scholars and Artist student organization presents CIA alumnus Brian Peterson to speak at this week’s Lunch on Fridays lecture. Peterson is a designer at Kia and the creator of Faces of Santa Ana, a project in which he paints portraits of the homeless in Santa Ana, CA. His work is being displayed in downtown Santa Ana and proceeds from sales of the portraits go to rehabilitation efforts for the individuals portrayed. The talk starts at 12:15pm in the Peter B. Lewis Theater.
