Spend a lunch hour learning about the latest in art and design during these Friday lectures. Each lecture features a variety of artists and designers from around the world, including CIA faculty and visiting artists. This event is free and open to the public. Pizza and beverages will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Beyond the Classroom: Faculty Panel on Engaged Practice
Come and hear from CIA faculty across the college who are connecting their students to professional engagement beyond the classroom. What is "engaged practice" all about? What is the benefit to students? Why are these faculty interested in this type of teaching? What about the community and professional partners? How can students fulfill their Engaged Practice (EP) graduation requirement?

While a professor at Maryland Institute of Art, Chris offered a class called Inside/Out, in collaboration with a women's federal penitentiary. Chris also recently co-taught a new Engaged Practice course at CIA in partnership with East Cleveland.
