Anthony Ingrisano's colorfully complex works on paper examine the aesthetics of both the natural and man-made systems that surround us. He focuses on complex infrastructures and how these systems accomplish a specific set of goals. His visual analysis moves into abstraction as the framework of these systems are removed from an intended functionality to locate the beauty and rhythm within these skeletal remains. His paintings reveal both the unpredictability and incongruity inherent in the natural world as its been lost through industrial development.
