I Want My CCTV

Video installations by six artists will be on view for one night only on March 10 at H space in Cleveland.

The exhibition, "I Want My CCTV," navigates aspects of control using video as a common medium. The show includes multidisciplinary works by six artists studying at the Cleveland Institute of Art (CIA): Morgan Christy, Ben Eberle, Ben Grossi, Alison Klein, Kayli Salzano, and Joey Strunk.

All artists are enrolled in CIA’s Advanced Video Projects course taught by Jacob Koestler.

In this class, students focus on strategic conceptualization and production of self-directed video projects. An additional aspect of this course examines closely the function of artwork within a broader community context by encouraging students to consider their work in relation to exhibition and audience.
