Spend a lunch hour learning about the latest in art and design during these Friday lectures. Each lecture features a variety of artists and designers from around the world, including CIA faculty and visiting artists. This event is free and open to the public. Pizza and beverages will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Visceral and immediate, the paintings of American artist Angela Dufresne and drawings of British- born Nicola Tyson confront the risks of walking the line between figural and abstract work.
The artists will speak at a special Lunch on Fridays presentation moderated by Gallery Director Bruce Checefsky on Friday, November 4, at 12:15pm in the Peter B. Lewis Theater.
Later that night, Reinberger Gallery’s fall exhibition, Living Dangerously: Angela Dufresne and Nicola Tyson, opens with a public reception from 6:30 to 8:30pm.
