An exhibition of work by visiting artists and CIA students will take place from March 27 through April 25, 2015.

CIA student work will include artwork and research findings presented by students in the three new courses associated with Community Works:

  • Socially Engaged Art for Change I: Drawn to Care = Portraiture + Medicine, in which students will draw and/or paint portraits of patients and their caregivers;
  • Socially Engaged Art for Change I: projectFIND = People + Shelter + Food + Mapping, in which students will work with 17 organizations that assist the Cleveland homeless population by creating a guide for mapping the resources that are available to them;
  • Environment, Art and Engaged Practice, a field-based course that will involve investigative studies within the Cleveland Metroparks.
