Plan to join us on Monday, December 1, when CIA hosts a public panel discussion, The Art of Designing Everything: The Life and Work of Massimo and Lella Vignelli. Featured speakers R. Roger Remington, Vignelli Distinguished Professor of Design, Rochester Institute of Technology; and Dr. Renato Miracco, Cultural Attaché, Embassy of Italy in Washington, D.C.; and moderator Steven Litt, art and architecture critic, The Plain Dealer; will explore the lives and works of these fascinating designers of everything from furniture and glassware, to a New York subway map and corporate logos. Presenting organizations include the Consulate of Italy in Detroit; American Institute of Architects, Cleveland; AIGA Cleveland; CIA; Kent State University – Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative; APG Office Furnishings; Herman Miller; and Belvino.
