Spend a lunch hour learning about the latest in art and design during these Friday lectures. Each lecture features a variety of artists and designers from around the world, including CIA faculty and visiting artists.

"We are on the verge of (yet another) revolution in the way we interface with technology. Voice, touch, near-field, gestural, haptic and even ocular-controlled devices already exist. We’ve moved beyond the keyboard and the desk, and engineers are just now beginning to take computation away from the tyranny of the screen. Artificial Intelligence exists and is functioning quite well in many fields. Information has been transformed into Big Data, which only gets bigger, and more confounding, every hour of every day. Thus, the job of the designer is on the precipice of a massive change." —Mari Hulick, Associate Professor, Graphic Design.

This event is free and open to the public. Pizza and beverages will be provided. Click here to read more about the Lunch on Fridays series.
