Add event to my calendar

Spend a lunch hour learning about the latest in art and design during these Friday lectures. Each lecture features a variety of artists and designers from around the world, including CIA faculty and visiting artists.

Marc Tomko is a visiting artist/faculty member in Sculpture and Expanded Media at CIA. Many ages ago, he left a brief graphic design career to earn a BFA in T.I.M.E. (Technology Integrated Media Environment) from the Cleveland Institute of Art, and then, an MFA in Visual Studies “Emerging Practices” from The University at Buffalo. As an omnimedia artist, his ideas may evolve into physical objects, virtual experience, installation environments, experimental soundscapes, or performative actions. He identifies as a “psychonautic bricoleur”: experimenting with various technologies to deepen self awareness and optimize cognitive functionality.

This event is free and open to the public. Pizza and beverages will be provided. Click here to read more about the Lunch on Fridays series.
