Add event to my calendar

Acclaimed glass artist Marc Petrovic ’91 will return to his alma mater to speak with students, review their work, and present a public workshop and lecture. The two-hour public workshop takes place Nov. 5, starting at 7pm, in the hot glass studio of CIA’s Joseph McCullough Center for the Visual Arts, 11610 Euclid Avenue. Petrovic will demonstrate hot glass sculpting, showcasing his unique hybrid of Italian murrini technique blended with hot sculpting. He will make a hot-sculpted bird form for his Avian Series. On Nov. 6 at 7pm in the Ohio Bell Auditorium of CIA’s Gund Building, 11141 East Boulevard, Petrovic will discuss the evolution of his work. Reception to follow.
